Open Space in New Orleans: ULI Louisiana Initiates its First TAP in 10 years
The concept of open space into the development of vibrant communities and the advantages of such amenities will be further discussed at the upcoming two-day ULI Louisiana Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) on March 20-21. Downtown has a thriving entrepreneurial community and rapidly expanding residential population. Both of these groups cite place, lifestyle, and overall quality of life as important factors in determining where to live and work. A panel of experts will convene to identify the need for more green space and public amenities to satisfy these communities and attract further growth and development.
In order to determine the best possible opportunities, locations, and development models, ULI Louisiana, in partnership with the Downtown Development District (DDD), with support from the City of New Orleans, American Institute of Architects, American Planning Association, and American Society of Landscape Architects, will conduct a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) to study this issue and provide practical and candid advice to address the most challenging real estate and land use issues facing communities today. Stay tuned for TAP updates!
