We encourage members to get involved: coordinate or moderate a local program, assist with a policy, project, volunteer as a mentor for our Young Leaders Group -all great opportunities to connect with your peers and give back to Louisiana. Members can also get involved by attending any of our events or by joining one of our local committees (listed below).
- Membership – The Membership committee strives to improve the quality of ULI membership experience, improve retention, expand membership, increase membership diversity and understand the needs and wants of members.
- Programs – The Programs committee facilitates relationship building and career advancement among ULI’s Louisiana members through high-quality educational programs. We offer over 30 programs per year, which are developed and coordinated by our regional committees in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette.
- Young Leaders Group (YLG)- The Young Leaders Group creates opportunities for young professionals under the age of 35 to develop skills and build relationships that will help advance their careers and foster an understanding of thoughtful development practices. Our seasoned members support and encourage the next generation of land use leaders by providing mentorship and insight into their career trajectory.
- Sponsorship – The Sponsorship committee facilitates relationship building and garners financial support for ULI Louisiana’s numerous programs throughout the year. This committee works closely with our sponsors who comprise the leading real estate industry companies in state.
