    This week's Content Hour will focus on Lessons from Louisiana: Building a Water City with David Waggonner, founding principal at Waggonner & Ball, and Andy Sternad, a leader of Waggonner & Ball’s urban water planning practice.
     
    An integrated approach to water management has become the guiding principal for Waggonner & Ball’s urban planning in New Orleans. Projects underway, including the Gentilly Resilience District and a comprehensive proposal for Downtown Water Opportunities, build on more than a decade of the firm’s design and advocacy work to shape the future development of the city. Waggonner & Ball will present an update on these projects, and how the process to realize them, from concept to implementation, provides a model for cities elsewhere in the region and across the Gulf and East Coasts.
